Co-advising PhD for IT Research in the Mediterranean region. (COADVISE)
The project aims to support and strengthen the different existing collaboration actions between Europe and Mediterranean Partner Countries (MCP) for research and research training in the field of Information and Communication Technologies through the staff exchange opportunities offered by IRSES.
The project aims to support and strengthen the different existing collaboration actions between Europe and Mediterranean Partner Countries (MCP) for research and research training in the field of Information and Communication Technologies through the staff exchange opportunities offered by IRSES.
The research group contributes in the creation, development and analysis of software for solving problems involving cooperative and multi-criterion optimization. Optimization will be applied to academic and industrial problems as well (application in transportation, telecommunication and bioinformatics). The tools are based on use of hybrid Metaheuristics. They will be parallelized and run on Grids.
Practically, the proposal aims at support: Mutual visits of the advisors PhD stays Yearly workshops gathering members of the teams involved in a same thematic network
The COADVISE proposal will help lasting collaboration as the relationships between laboratories, universities and engineer Schools are strengthened when close ties have been elaborated through individual relationships.
