Specific objectives: 1. To pay attention to the difficulties of reconciliation that new family models come across nowadays 2. To learn about the reconciliation strategies developed by the different types of families in terms of number, sex or origin of the parents, among others. 3. To analyze the effectiveness of formal resources (nurseries, canteens, morning classrooms , reconciliation resources in companies, etc.), as well as informal support networks (family, friends), in terms of reconciliation. 4. To compare the situation in our respective regions in terms of reconciliation strategies and resources, and its effect on family satisfaction. 5. To arrive at conclusions that allow to make proposals to improve conciliation in the three European regions, taking into account the peculiarity of each one.
This study aims to get to know how European families currently practice reconciliation and the type of resources they use to achieve it. From this, the study will obtain important information about the necessary reconciliation measures for the improvement of the circumstances the families live in. General impact: This study aims to improve the well-being of all types of families (conventional families, gay or lesbian families, single parents and immigrant families). To do this, we want to know the circumstances of reconciliation of each type of family and then, we want to propose measures for improvement.
